We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. Everything was clean and tidy. The hotel facilities were great. The location in a quiet district was perfect for a peaceful stay. We loved being close to an excellent Albert Heijn food store and the museums. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious.
Nothing, all was good.

The location near the museums (Van Gogh and the Rijksmuseum) was the reason for the choice. Walking distance to all key city attractions. Tram stop within a 2 minute walk to Amsterdam Centra Station to catch trains and to the airport connection. Staff is really helpful with information. Also 24 hours service at the front desk for queries/requests.
Nothing really - it was perfect for a 2 day business/holiday trip, but not ideal for a relaxing luxury holiday.

Hotel's location is very good for those who want to visit museums, and not only as it is close to public transporation too. The staff is friendly and helpful. For some unknown reason for me my phone was not connected with outside phones and TV was not working. I think with that rate Hotel should consider providing better furnished rooms.
old bed blanket, towels and other room elements

Great location and friendly staff! We could walk to all the main attractions and restaurants, plus the metro station was just a few blocks away. The room was clean and comfortable, and the daily breakfast was good.
The hotel seemed a bit outdated and in need of some renovations. The furniture and decor were old and worn out, and there was no air conditioning, which made it uncomfortable in the summer heat.

The staff were very nice & helpful. The rooms were clean and very big. Good value for money. It doesn't have a minimum stay on weekends like everywhere else in Amsterdam!

The hotel had a good location near the city center, making it easy to get around. It was also reasonably priced for the area. the staff was welcoming and friendly.
The room was not very clean and there were some maintenance issues. the bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were flat.

The most reasonable rates I could find in Amsterdam (although still expensive). The hotel staff were wonderfully helpful. Close to the most popular museums, but a 20-30 minute walk from the city center.

The guy at reception was very helpful and showed me various places on the tourist map to visit. He even looked up local pharmacy hours for me and called a couple to see which were open in the evening. Gave good directions.
I thought the hotel was a bit pricey for what you got, basically just a bed and bathroom. Not even a kettle to make tea. Hotels closer to more tourist areas weren't much more money.

Really good hotel with nice staff. Perfect service, everyday I had new towels.
I think price can be less, but I can say the same thing to all hotels at this area :)
